Project Idea and Major Inspiration 

Summary of project idea: The scene starts off with a chef turning on the lights. The chef then puts on an apron with a visible blood stain on it and starts cooking a steak. When finished cooking the steak, the chef starts cutting the steak into cubes. The camera moves over to an unknown person, and the chef starts to wipe blood off of them. The chef cuts up sweet potato, overflows a mug with alcohol, and there are visible pills in the background of the scene. Unsettling music plays while the chef cooks. When the food is done, the chef sets it up in a very specific order, sweet potato and steak. After the chef sets it up, a lifeless dead person sits across from them, blood on wrist and body. The chef tries to feed, touch, and manipulate the dead person into eating and playing with the food until there is a knock at the door. This is where the scene ends.

Our major inspiration for the film opening is the movie Se7en. I liked the way they did their credit sequence, it had a scary vibe which is exactly what we are going for. I also liked how they added quick cuts to switch to different things. The font that was used in the films credits helped us to get an idea of what font we want to use. The font gives off a demented kind of feeling. The sound effects playing in the background also gave us a good idea of what music/sound effects we will use.
