Post-production Editing Process Post
For my partner and I's film opening, sound plays a very big part in our opening since there is no talking throughout the scenes. It's also important we add sound because it changes the overall effect of our opening. Without sound, viewers wouldn't understand the mood we're trying to go for.
We did research on some no copy right sounds and found a couple options that we're considering using in the opening. We were looking at slow, unsettling classical music. We want the music we add to give off a scary vibe while the chef is cooking. The music we want to use needs to create suspense in the scenes.
We also are going to add foley sounds into the opening. One foley sound that we know we're going to add is a knock in the last scene of the film to end it off. During the scene where my partner turns on the stove, we will add the noise of the stove turning on. We are also going to add cooking sounds such as the steak sizzling.
