Audio Planning
When considering audio that will be used in me and my partners film opening, we have had a couple of different ideas that we are planning to add to our project for the soundscape.
First off, throughout the entire opening we wanted some kind of constant, unsettling humming sound that makes the viewers feel tense and a little uncomfortable. I think it would be perfect to fit the vibe we are going for. Me and my partner did research on some film openings that included the unsettling humming and we thought it was a pretty good idea. A good example that I watched was the film opening for the movie The Innocents. The film is also in the same genre as the one that we are doing, which makes it an even more reliable example.

We are also considered adding some foley sounds into our opening. For example, when the chef is cooking there will be sounds of sizzling and the oven/stove noises. We will definitely add some more foley when we create the opening itself but that is the only one we know we are for sure doing at the moment.
